  • Let’s Talk About: The 1916 Jersey Shore Shark Attacks
On today's episode of One Cross Radio, we're diving back into disaster territory and looking at the infamous 1916 Jersey Shore Shark Attacks.

Join us as we look at those unfortunate deaths, how the event influenced a movie/book that shaped pop culture (looking at you, Jaws), exploring some of the bogus theories (looking at you, 'rogue theory) and conspiracies that rose from it, seeing how we have (but also haven't) learned from it, and talking about sharks being awesome despite things.

Hope you enjoyed today's episode! What's your favourite series of Trek? Was Chris to harsh on Roddenberry (who he actually does like)? Drop us a line and let us know!

  • Rerelease: Let’s Talk About - Favourite things from Star Wars Legends

On today's episode of One Cross Radio, we're diving into our back catalogue and rereleasing an old episode. Why? Things have been very chaotic lately (briefly discussed in this episode), and I didn't want to not have a release. I hope you'll enjoy our trip down memory lane!

Also, I need to issue a correction. In my number #2 spot, the master Plagueis killed was Darth Tenebrous, and the person he kept alive in stasis for experimentation was secret apprentice Darth Venamis.

You should also be sure to check out the two youtube channels we shouted out – the first being from our friends Redeemed Otaku and the great kaiju film themed Up From The Depths!

On today's episode of One Cross Radio, we're going back into the water and looking at the mixed bag (good to beyond awful) of sequels to the 1975 classic Jaws.

What are the stories behind these movies? Were there unmade versions (and not enough to make a proper 'Unmade' episode)? What bonkers things were involved the novelizations? Could a fifth movie possibly make things worse? Does Chris fall apart ranting about one of them? Tune in to find out!

Also, as mentioned in the episode, be sure to check out the Layton Eversaul retrospectives to learn more!

Are some of the things that have been immortalized on film accurate? What changes did the inquiry's result in? Does Chris apologize for a mistake in the last episode (yes, yes he does)? Could the Californian have helped more? And do the conspiracies that have been tied to the ship hold any water (pun not intended)? Tune in to find out!
