One Cross Radio

On today's episode of One Cross Radio, we're sharing an episode we got to be a guest on over on the Monster Island Film Vault earlier this year!

To cover all bases and links, I'ma hit you with the summary from the original episode! Hope you enjoy, and God bless my friends!

Hello, Kaiju Lovers! “Ameri-kaiju” continues with a bit of an unusual entry; one that, serendipitously, Nate also covered around the same time on his other podcast, The Power Trip: the controversial Power Rangers (2017). While Nate has grown to appreciate this film quite a bit, he intentionally brought on Chris Cooke (co-host of One Cross Radio, Radio Arcade, and Powerbombs and Piledrivers) to discuss it because he does not. However, these two find more common ground than you’d think. That was surprisingly true in today’s Toku Topic, which is a discussion of representation in media. This serves as a great companion to the Power Trip episode.

Before today’s broadcast, Nate entered his office to find sitting in his chair none other than Mr. Gold. After a thinly veiled threat of “termination,” Nate divulges a secret about Jimmy to him. Afterward, the infamous “Not-Goldar” attacks Monster Island out of nowhere—but help arrives in the form of a newly powered-up Karone! But even Nate, Chris, and Jimmy get in on the monster-fighting action thanks to Mechani-Kong Mk. 2.

The prologue and epilogue, “With Friends Like You,” was written by Nathan Marchand with Michael Hamilton.

On today’s episode of One Cross Radio, we’re sharing a live stream we got to be a part of last monday that was a memorial fundraiser for Power Rangers actor/fandom legend Jason David Frank, who passed away recently.

To give y’all a heads up, this episode is heavy with emotions and features conversations about death and suicide/suicidal ideation - if those can be upsetting or triggering for you, please handle lightly.

The link to the charity is still live, if you at all can please consider donating.

Hope you enjoy, and God bless my friends.

On today's episode of One Cross Radio, we're looking at the latest entry to the MCU with Black Panther Wakanda Forever. Now, I recorded this about an hour after watching the movie - so feelings were very fresh. And as a friendly reminder, spoilers are inbound.

What did you think of the movie? Do you like where it's going? Where do you think the third will go? Isn't Namor the worst?

All joking aside, and all that being said - hope you enjoyed, and God bless my friends.

What has 13 films since 1978 and FIVE continuities/timelines? This horror staple. Join us as we break down this bloody (pun intended) confusing (and sometimes great or schlocky) franchise and look at what goes where, who's connected to what, and that time Busta Rhymes showed up.

Hope you enjoy, and God bless my friends!

Happy early thanksgiving if you're in Canada! We're dropping our episode early! On today's episode of One Cross Radio, we're ranking the six official films in the Alien film franchise!

Hope you enjoy, and God bless my friends!
