Then, the most important thing, is the Kenosha Book Festival that is kicking off its Year Zero festivities in hopes to make this an annual event. Filmmaker, podcaster, and all-around nerd idol Kevin Smith has made a career (good or bad) out of betting on himself. I have been a huge fan of his work since Clerks and taking charge of my own dreams and aspirations could be attributed to listening to his story. Recently, I was able to partake in one of his "Night With Kevin Smith" shows and it just made me realize how much of my own success came from watching him take on the world in his own way. This episode of the podcast, I tell you all why I love Kevin Smith for all that he's done for entertainment and inspiring people like myself to bet on themselves.
