We have a conversation about how to read the bible for all it’s worth.  By seeing it for what it is:  A single story!  We could memorize the entire bible, Genesis to Revelation but still miss the whole point of the bible.  So Grand Rapids pastor Rod VanSolkema unfolds how the bible is one beautiful redemptive love story.  Then Shawna shares what the Marvel universe has to do with the one story of the bible and then takes us to the story of Abraham offering Isaac to bring that point home.  And finally a conversation about how the bible only has one true Hero in its one big story, a beautiful Prince who crosses worlds to come and save us and make us like him.  And Rod VanSolkema shows us how the story of Jacob and unloved “ugly” Leah is one little story in the bible that demonstrates its big story.  As we see the bible as one story we encounter Jesus in it and are transformed!
