WHAT IN THE NAME OF PORTUGAL?!

Olá e bem-vindo to One Foot in the Podcast Christmas special - part 1 of 2.

Algarve episode has to be one of my favourite One Foot specials. I'm joined by the very loyal Darren for this one. So much to discuss, that this pod will be published as two episodes.

One Foot in the Algarve was well received by comedy fans. It has to be one of the more successful British sitcom episode specials filmed outside of its comfort zones (abroad).

What a treat we have in store:

-Margaret joins Victor and Margaret on a quest to meet a long-time pen-friend Alfonso

-The great Peter Cook stars as the hapless Martin Trout, who is on the chase for his priceless roll of film who he believes Margaret to accidently possess which contains apparant saucy photos of a public figure of more than a compromising position

-A close-encounter nearly sees Mrs. Warboys attacked

-The Meldrews' and Mrs. Warboys are seemingly arrested and dumped in a grotty "prison"

-Mrs Warboys' goes missing which brings panic and fear for the Meldrews

-The Meldrews receive help from professional boxer Hugo, who gets embroiled in the Mrs. Warboys saga of her whereabouts
