Hello - we're back with the first release since Christmas 2021.
Si, Darren and Tom get together to generally waffle on like in the spirit of Jean Warboys.
Included in this episode is a rather calamitious quiz!
Get in touch with me to let me know how you got on!
Happy Easter, you little bunnies.
Tom
Here's a bonus extra from Rach and her pops, Tim, where they head-off for a quick quiz and take it in turns to reveal their ultimate One Foot themed experience if stranded on a desert island.
A treat for Simon, Darren and I, as part of our adventure in and around Christchurch and Bournemouth. We spoke with Shaun, who lives at Victor Meldrew's home, as well as Gill & Ted, occupying Mr Swainey's address.
This was a treat and a privilage to speak to down-to-earth people who probably have no idea how awesome it is, to be residing at such famous houses in the British comedy world.
Thank you to Shaun and his wife and Gill & Ted.
Welcome to a double-whammy of an episode. Could have released this in two parts, but thought bugger it - I'll gift you one last monster of a show talking about the comic relief short & a run down of Darren, Simon and I discussing our individual top 5 moments for two categories: Funny moments and Surreal/Sad moments. Talking of surreal and sad - we loved the twist at the end of Visiting Uncle Dick -It wasn't easy - but we managed to make our choices! What would yours be? Dear Listeners,
The guest I have on is my final gift to you (for now) who helps me round-off this phenomenally written and produced TV series.
Victor Meldrew 'Old Vic' - is taken from us, all too soon. His ultimate demise becomes a reality no thanks to a failed school reunion that never was and a hit-and-run driver.
The story is unfolded through Margaret's storytelling.
Be prepared to re-live the sad and despair lasting moments of one Victor Meldrew, plus some ever-hilarious visuals, misunderstandings and one-liners throughout!

Here's to the penultimate episode of One Foot in the Grave - sad, sad times ahead.
JD Collins joins me - host and producer of 'Don't Slam Your Podcast!' (a 2Point4 Children Podcast).
Arguably one of the most poignant and thought-provoking scenes in the entire show, sees Mr Swainey reflect on his life to Margaret. The Trench's for once experience some absurdity at their own home and a mix-up with an exchange of video causes severe embarrassment for the Meldrews.

The final real-time episode. Another one-scene classic and a quirky cameo from the late, great, Roy Hudd as the hapless Mr. Smedley. In times like this, super fans like David Friend are urgently required. This chap really helped to breakdown this episode and as ever, was exceptional with conversation and input.
So, a quick refresher ahead of listening to the pod:
The Meldrews, on the hottest night of the year, are experiencing an endless power cut. You can only imagine how hellish this is for them and how hilarious this is for us!

My cousin and good friend, Chris, joins me this week.
It's an emotional farewell for us One Foot fans, as it sees the last of dear Mrs Jean Warboys. She of course goes out with a bang (almost) and isn't seen again on our screens in the Meldrew universe. Sad, sad times.
The Meldrews hire a cleaner, one that can't seem to keep her kit on, whilst Enrico the Italian seeks the help of Victor, which will be the catalyst for a monumental cock-up (pun intended, or otherwise) involving a misunderstood letter to Mimsy Bercovitz.
Yet more surrealism for Victor and Margaret, when they receive an unexplained and preposterous gift from seemingly no-one.

Here we are, with arguably the darkest episode for some time. It seems Victor’s imminent demise is throwing-up clues as to how he may end up with both feet in the grave. A potential Ronnie and Mildred visit sends shivers down the spines of Victor and Margaret. Cousin Wilf and Mrs. Warboys pay a visit, which only goes to serve-up a foray of unwanted stress for Margaret.
The tale of this terror is rounded-up with a suicide.
Dan joins me to mark his debut on the podcast. A big thanks to Dan and a big thanks to you for downloading!
