In what was a very eventful week, the boys started by breaking down a great 4-1 run of Oilers hockey in the Good, the Bad and the Ugly (08:26).

Then the elephant in the room, the news that the Oilers acquired G Tristan Jarry, F Sam Poulin and D Spencer Stastney (28:53). They discussed Jarry's fit, the departure of Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak, reminisced on the memories of those two and ultimately what it means for the team.

Keeping up with the National, there was a major blockbuster in the Minnesota Wild acquiring Ellen's son D Quinn Hughes from the Vancouver Canucks (51:10). They discussed what led to the move, the return for Vancouver and what the future holds for the Hughes brothers. They also touched on the Olympics news as well as a look at the pathetic St. Louis Blues.

Closing out the show, Nolan had a quick game of "15 words or less" for Myles (1:03:19).

The boys started off with some talk about people's year-end music lists on their various streamers before jumping into what was the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the last 10 games including the 4-0 victory over Seattle, the ass-whooping by the Stars and the Wallstedt shut-out (10:00).

Then they dove into what was the elephant in the room of Oilerville - the goaltending. They discussed the numbers, the affect it's having on the team and what they could maybe do to upgrade (39:55). Moving on from the goaltending, they talked about the prospects that whose stock is currently up including Quinn Hutson, Tommy Lafreniere and more.

Keeping up with the National, the guys checked in on the standings and league leaders as well as the Olympic arena progress, the Quinn Hughes drama, and much more (58:45).

Another season of mid October Oilers hockey continues!

This week, the boys reconvened after a mediocre 9 game start to the season to break down The Good, The Bad and Ugly fresh off of a porous 3-2 effort against Seattle (07:41). Moving to an overall conversation about the Oilers (27:12) they talked about surprises, disappointments, underlying numbers and more.

Following another Myles rant to open the show, the boys discussed and broke down the machinations of the 2-year/$25M deal Connor McDavid signed including what it means, the cap savings, how it affects the future of the Oilers and more. (06:00) Following McDavid, defenseman Jake Walman signed a 7-year/$49M extension to lock him up as an Oiler and of course the guys had to celebrate their stud d-man.

For the second straight year, the Oilers defeated the Stars in the conference final and are taking on the Panthers for hockey's ultimate prize and of course, you know your boys had a preview waiting.

This week, after some reflection on the history of the team and the show, the boys dove into the series against the Stars, including the horrendous game 1 collapse, the domination of games 2-4, the Hyman injury, DeBoer's criticism of Jake Oettinger and more (07:58).

Then, after much anticipation and excitement, they previewed the upcoming Stanley Cup Final versus the Florida Panthers including a look at the numbers, the personnel and the tactical matchup (36:25) before finishing off with a prediction.

For the third time in four years, the Edmonton Oilers are back in the Western Conference Final, to face off against the Dallas Stars for the second year in a row.

This week, the boys broke down the 5 game takedown of the Vegas Golden Knights at the hands of the Oilers (08:35), including the game 3 gaffe, the domination of game 4, Stuart Skinner's brilliance and more.

Looking towards their matchup against the Stars, they talked about how the Stars surging top line matched up against the Oilers depth, how the special teams stack up, reasons for optimism, concern and more (22:04).
