Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino are in talking a BIG BLUE WIN! The football gods have not been kind to the New York Football Giants of late and they didn't seem to be showing any favor on Sunday in Tennessee.

Football, however, is a 60 minute game - and the Giants fought for the full four quarters against the Titans. Trailing 13-0 at halftime and having all the hallmarks of ineptitude of years past, things... changed.

Shaun discusses how not all wins are created equal as this was a symbolic game for the franchise and the fanbase. Brian Daboll showed his metal going for two late in the fourth, and the shanked field goal for the Titans sealed the victory.

This was a vintage Saquon Barkley performance, marked by big plays and a back who looks healthy and maybe even a little wiser. Daniel Jones was not perfect, especially on a red zone interception, but did enough to keep the Giants on track.

With standout contributors on both sides of the ball, the hope is that the rest of the season goes as this game did - slow and steady, smart decisions and opportunities to win.

Saquon Barkley is a man reborn! Seemingly back in his rookie season form, Paul Dottino was not surprised to see the Giants running back lead this team on Sunday. Behind quality blocks from rookie Joshua Ezeudu, there is no doubt the Giants have a blue print for success.

Shaun and Paul discuss the high-level perspective on the win and how all elements came together for the win on Sunday. Brian Daboll notably challenged Daniel Jones following his interception and the Giants signal caller seemed to take it to heart. Paul notes this is nothing new for Brian Daboll and sure to be a theme of his tenure with Big Blue.

Paul highlights the versatility Wink Martindale will bring on a game to game basis. Jihad Ward brought the emotional leadership this team will need all season long, While Ladarius Toney was used sparingly, to be generous, Paul Dottino gives Giants fans a reason to not overreact - noting this wide receiver group will use every man on the depth chart to get the job done on Sundays.

The NFL season is officially kicking off for Big Blue! You may come to One Giant Step to hear Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino verbally joust, but today they are in agreement - Tennessee has upset special in the air!

The Giants enter week one still looking to fully mend from off-season injuries. Kayvon Thibdeaux and Azeez Ojulari may need another week, but Paul highlights Jihad Ward as a potential step up candidate. If slowing down Derrick Henry is the goal, throwing a four-man defensive front may be the first step in that process.

Offensively Shaun sees the inclement weather as a great opportunity for Ladarius Toney step in, and step up! A rookie campaign slowed by injuries, Toney can be the most dynamic game shifting talent on the field. With a few joy-stick moves in the slop, the second year wideout could lead the offense against the Titans.

In perfect alignment once again, both Shaun and Paul remind the Big Blue fanbase that special teams were a pre-season disaster and the Giants cannot afford to lose the field position battle if they expect to leave Tennessee with a victory en toe.

Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino simply can't wait to talk Giants football! The Tennessee Titans are on tap for week one, and still many questions remain for this roster. It is understood that LG is an area of concern for the offensive line, and Paul outlines the open competition that could continue right up to kick-off.

Moving on from older players is one thing, but Shaun simply cannot wrap his head around the decision and timing of releasing veteran linebacker Blake Martinez. Paul offers some potential explanations, none of which satisfy Shaun, who sees this as a black mark on Joe Schoen's resume.

Wink Martindale will have several options throughout his secondary, following another pick up by Big Blue in Fabian Moreau. Shaun and Paul discuss the uniqueness of the defensive scheme week to week and who could be active Sunday vs the Titans as Kayvon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojulari continue to mend.
