DISCLAIMER: This episode lacks structure, organization, or reason. Proceed at your own risk. (Truthfully, we weren't sure we'd get this far.) As a result, we bring you one of our most chaotically-assembled episodes - a totally unsponsored Red Bull taste test, a truly unhinged recap of the Super Bowl, and the internet's best memes of the week, and a tragically unsuccessful attempt by your two hosts at reading each other's minds. Is it over an hour long? Yes! Are we really surprised? You shouldn't be. Here's the latest dish from the One Hour, One Brain Cell kitchen.
It's been a busy couple of weeks at OHOBC headquarters, but we're back with our milestone tenth episode! Richie and Jordan discuss all things fear - ghosts, goblins, the dolls from It's A Small World, and more things that go bump in the night (mostly our shins against all of the walls and furniture). We also recap boygenius' emotional Grammy victories, struggle to remember the title of Taylor Swift's new album, and make predictions for the victor of the Superb Owl contest. Plus, find out if Jordan manages to avoid getting BINGO'd on her first episode in the hot seat - and stay tuned for some friend tea spilled about Richie's big birthday weekend. All this and more, on the latest episode of One Hour, One Brain Cell.

Feeling nihilistic about love this Valentine's Day? Us too. In an effort to fight back against our Hallmark overlords, we're ranking the best and worst first date spots, romantic comedies, and more - and end up with arguably the most unhinged 30 seconds in podcasting history. As they say, love is in the air - or maybe it's just those leftovers you forgot to throw out. Grab some chocolate and your favorite Céline Dion tracks, and curl up with the latest episode of the One Hour, One Brain Cell podcast.

As the self-appointed aficionadoughs of this particular topic, it was really only a matter of time before we had a pizza-themed episode. Your hosts cook up a number of piping-hot takes, including the best brands, toppings, and chains, and reveal one truly disturbing slice of information about Richie. As is becoming tradition, we've also gathered a few pop culture references about this delicious delicacy that you absolutely knead to know (long live Pizza Rat). Allow us to be your crustodians through this corner of the internet - this might be history in the baking.
After seven episodes of this nonsense, we've finally realized that you probably don't know much about your two absolute fools for hosts. We're here to fix that today by taking a bunch of probably arbitrary quizzes, all of which we will believe with absolute blind faith and certainty and allow to slowly overtake our personalities. (Don't ask us what time we were born or our rising signs, though - it's not that we won't tell you, it's just that we don't know.) We recap the Internet's unofficial sixth love language of peeling an orange for someone, and the rodent hole that's worked its way into our collective hearts. Plus, Jordan makes a bingo board for Richie-isms - of which we get a surprising amount crossed off very quickly. Are we predictable, or are we clairvoyant? Find out on this episode of the One Hour, One Brain Cell podcast.

We're not a regular pod, we're a cool pod. Take a trip down memory lane with us as we revisit some of the greatest hits in movies and music of the early 2000s, recap the new Mean Girls movie-based-on-a-musical-based-on-a-movie, and decide whether museum heists are fetch or not. While we yet again failed to keep the episode under an hour, we did manage to keep Richie from swearing in this one. Get in, losers - it's time for episode 6.
(We don't own any of the video clips or audio clips used in this episode. Please don't sue us.)

This episode will disappear randomly after casting gaseous form - but before it does, we welcome you back to our hijinks with the first episode of 2024. Aided by a concerning amount of caffeine, Richie and Jordan recap the ins and outs of the year ahead, including edible mascots, the movie Holes, and the science side of the Sephora subreddit. This might be our best episode yet, so buckle in, grab a Panera lemonade, and hang out with us.

It's the end of 2023, and we're feeling our age instead of feeling ourselves. We celebrate the end of the year by rewinding pop culture to discuss our favorite things, including movies, music, the world takeover of Taylor Swift, and our love for the members of boygenius. We also dive into the best of the Internet, remember fondly the time a Boston cop met a children's slide, and as usual hand out our One Brain Cell Award. Happy New Year, friends.

This episode is so wild, we had to censor Richard on more than one occasion. Today we're talking all things ~etiquette~ including concerts and air travel, and debate some hot stove topics including preferred seating location, run-ins with the law (TSA), and the utter anarchy of putting your bare feet on the airplane floor. Plus, we dive into the collective decline of concert etiquette in recent years, hand out potentially our favorite One Brain Cell Award to date, and manage to keep the whole thing to an hour. Don't say we never did anything nice for you.
We're back for more with our first ever holiday special on this episode of One Hour, One Brain Cell - where we chat about Christmas music, holiday decorating, and the warm and fuzzy feeling you get from watching Hans Gruber fall from Nakatomi Plaza. We make a brief detour into movie musicals, Taylor Swift, and Richie's homework (Hail Meryl). After we finish subtweeting Delilah, we follow it up with a far too in-depth analysis of a Hallmark holiday movie, and as is tradition, we hand out our weekly green and red flags and the One Brain Cell Award. Spoiler alert: we didn't keep it to an hour this time either.
