Diabetes burnout is a surprisingly common condition and can cover a gamut of emotions from anxiety and irritability to indifference, fear and depression. Linda Farrugia from Diabetes Qualified talks to Dr Vered Gordon, a GP and the General Practice Education Program Developer at the Black Dog Institute. They discuss the importance of emotional wellbeing, how to recognise diabetes burnout, ideas and strategies for coping and where to get support.
