  • Interview with Casey Waesche - Author of "I'm The Boss Of Me" Children's Book

Interview with Casey Waesche, author of a new children's book called "I'm The Boss Of Me." This book will help little ones learn how to be in charge of their body parts: such as their mouths, arms, and legs. It teaches children personal accountability and responsibility. The book also teaches diversity and inclusiveness, personal safety, and body autonomy.

Casey has had quite an eclectic life, from managing a band and touring the US & Europe in her 20's, planning large-scale events and festivals, fundraising for the NFL, and starting and running small businesses. She has traveled the globe and has many interesting life stories to share.

The creation of the I'm The Boss of Me children's book happened when her son was seven years old. He came home – again – with a note from his teacher saying he had another "outburst" in class. (This time, it was calling the teacher a liar in front of the whole class.) She asked him why this kept happening, and he said, "It's not MY fault, Mommy. My MOUTH did it!"

Listen to the complete interview to learn more about Casey's life and her critically acclaimed children's book.
