We feature our listener’s voices expressing their unique thoughts and feelings about kindness. We want people like you to express their opinion on the world stage of our humble yet important podcast. We believe people need to hear your voice. When it comes to kindness, the more voices, the better!? Our guests today will be Scott from Raymond, Maine and Janine from Ashburnham, Massachusetts who will be sharing their ideas on kindness.

We will explore ideas on a hundred forms of kindness, for example, compassion, reciprocity, trust, and many more. These explorations begin with an inspiring quote from a couple of thought leaders with diverse areas of expertise.

We will engage in an energizing conversation with Andy Webster who is the director of and a teacher at the Walden Project located in the Fingerlakes region of Upstate NY and Lisa Nichols, who is also a teacher from Walden. The Walden Project is a full-time outdoor educational program for teenagers inspired by Henry David Thoreau's famous sojourn to Walden Pond.

A story about a portion of my personal odyssey as I attempted to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, Africa in 2010. It traces the footprints and inspiration of my African guides as they lead me up the magnificent landscape of a world-class mountain to discover the best of myself. Eventually, this discovery led me to the creation of a “Formula for Success”. This formula embraces kindness as a fundamental element in success.

Today’s show is an interview with Sue Kirby, who is the Founder and Executive Director of Bright Star Community. Brightstar Community’s mission is to help women survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution, abuse, and addiction to find healing, hope, and freedom. They do this by providing safe and supportive housing, opportunities for economic independence, and a strong community of advocates and partners.
