The spectacular UK & Ireland tour of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe stops off in Milton Keynes Theatre for performances from Tue 22 - Sat 26 Jul.

The celebrated production of C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which was loved by audiences and critics alike during its recent West End run, has embarked on a major new tour of the UK & Ireland to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the publication of C.S. Lewis' novel.   

Award-winning Katy Stephens plays The White Witch. Katy’s extensive stage career includes leading roles at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company, with whom she is an Associate Artist. Katy was part of the team that won the Olivier Award for Best Ensemble Performance for the RSC’s Histories Cycle, where her roles included Joan of Arc and Margaret of Anjou. Katy will also play Mrs. Macready.

Playing the Pevensie Children are Joanna Adaran as Susan, Jesse Dunbar as Peter, Kudzai Mangombe as Lucy and Bunmi Osadolor as Edmund.

C.S. Lewis’ book was first published in October 1950. Since then, over 85 million copies in 60 languages have been sold. It is one of the top ten best-selling books of all time. The stage adaptation of Lewis’ iconic book enjoyed a hugely successful, critically-acclaimed London run in 2022/3.

Step through the wardrobe into the enchanted kingdom of Narnia. Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they wave goodbye to wartime Britain and embark on the most magical of adventures in a frozen, faraway land where they meet Mr. Tumnus the faun, talking beavers, Aslan (the noble king of Narnia) and the coldest, most evil White Witch.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Returns to Milton Keynes

The sensational London Palladium production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, is set to return to the Milton Keynes Theatre from Wednesday, August 6th to Sunday, August 10th. Having played to packed audiences in 2022, this beloved show promises another week of unforgettable performances.

Leading the cast as the Pharaoh is Joe McElderry, the much-loved winner of The X Factor in 2009. McElderry, who previously starred as Joseph in a 2017/2018 UK tour, has a diverse career spanning music and theatre, including acclaimed roles in Tommy and Club Tropicana: The Musical.

Joining him are Christina Bianco as the Narrator and Adam Filipe as Joseph. Bianco, a two-time Drama Desk Award nominee, is celebrated for her 'diva' impression videos and West End debut in Forbidden Broadway. Filipe brings experience from Titanic The Musical (UK Tour), Prince of Egypt, and Les Misérables.

The 2025 tour company also features Hugh Cotton as Reuben and Will Haswell as Simeon. Haswell's extensive musical theatre credits include Oliver, Some Like It Hot, Shrek The Musical (Pinocchio), Jersey Boys (Joe Pesci/understudy Frankie Valli), The Book Of Mormon, and Grease (Johnny Casino/understudy Danny Zuko). The full company comprises a talented ensemble of actors and a dedicated children’s cast.

A Dream Come True: The Story and Production

First released as a concept album in 1969, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has become a global phenomenon, performed hundreds of thousands of times worldwide. This multi-award-winning show, the first major collaboration between Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, features an array of classic songs, including "Any Dream Will Do," "Close Every Door," and "Go, Go, Go Joseph." The London Palladium production garnered rapturous receptions during its 2019 and 2021 summer seasons before its initial UK tour in 2022.

The musical tells the biblical story of Jacob's favourite son, Joseph. Blessed with the ability to interpret dreams, Joseph's envious brothers sell him into servitude. After rising in the household of Egyptian noble Potiphar and enduring unjust imprisonment, Joseph's unique gift brings him before the Pharaoh. He ultimately becomes the Pharaoh's trusted advisor, helping to avert a famine and, in a poignant reunion, reconciles with his family. Told entirely through song, the Narrator guides the audience through Joseph's extraordinary journey of betrayal, forgiveness, and triumph.

This acclaimed production is directed by Laurence Connor, known for his work on School of Rock, Miss Saigon, and co-directing the new version of Les Misérables. The show's choreographer is JoAnn M Hunter, with Morgan Large responsible for Set and Costume Design. The One with Harry Carpenter (Luthor Vandross)

Harry ​has sung and entertained from a very early age including a brief spell on the West End stage with the National Youth Theatre, Harry’s singing career really took off after appearing on Granada Televisions “Stars In Their Eyes” as Luther Vandross. The producers were so impressed that they asked him to return for TWO more special shows!
Harry was a founder member of a Motown 12 piece tribute band – Tops and Temps – which toured throughout the UK performing live such songs as ‘My Girl’, ‘Reach out’ as well as many other popular Motown hits.

Three of Britain’s most loved comedians are reunited in this brand new play at Milton Keynes Theatre this July.

Following sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s West End, producers Jamie Wilson Productions and Emily Wood for Evolution Productions are delighted to be bringing The Last Laugh to Milton Keynes. Written and directed by Paul Hendy, this new play will run at Milton Keynes Theatre from Tuesday 8 to Saturday 12 July. The Last Laugh stars Bob Golding as Eric Morecambe, Damian Williams as Tommy Cooper and Simon Cartwright as Bob Monkhouse who all reprise their roles following the Edinburgh and West End runs. This brand-new play re-imagines the lives of three of Britain's all-time greatest comedy heroes – Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe and Bob Monkhouse. Filled with great gags and touching stories, The Last Laugh is nostalgic, poignant and guaranteed to be an unforgettable night out. Bob Golding starred as Eric Morecambe in the West End hit Morecambe at the Duchess Theatre for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award, with the show winning the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment. He has also appeared in the West End production of the musicals Only The Lonely and Elvis The Musical. Damian Williams played Tommy Cooper in the tour of Being Tommy Cooper. His many other theatre credits include Edna Turnblad in the national tour of the musical Hairspray as well as the national tour of The Ladykillers and the plays Bouncers and Educating Rita. For the past 17 years he has been the resident Dame in the pantomimes at the Sheffield Lyceum and was awarded Best Pantomime Dame at The Great British Pantomime Awards. Simon Cartwright has been an actor and impressionist since the 1980s, appearing at The

Comedy Store many times. He has appeared in the award-winning Channel 4 hit Toast of London and the films Mother’s Day and Closure. He has recently toured the UK in the stage play Howerd’s End in which he portrays the legendary comedian Frankie Howerd. The Last Laugh is written and directed by Paul Hendy. One with Hue and Cry

Brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane formed Hue and Cry in 1984 and the duo made a huge impact with the release of their debut album ‘Seduced and Abandoned’ (1987) which featured their first top ten single ‘Labour of Love’. The follow up album ‘Remote’ continued the trend and produced the huge hits ‘Looking for Linda’ & ‘Violently’. Albums like ‘Stars Crash Down’, ‘Showtime’ and ‘Jazz Not Jazz’ ensured Hue and Cry’s continued successful run through the 90’s, whilst their 2005 appearances as finalists on ITV’s primetime show ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’, featuring their version of Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love’, thrust the band firmly back into the mainstream limelight.

A number of successful album releases and accompanying live appearances followed which included ‘Open Soul’ (2008), 'Xmasday' (2009), 'Bitter Suite Again' (2010), ‘Hot Wire’ (2012), ‘Remote: Major to Minor’ (2014),‘September Songs’ (2015), ‘Pocketful of Stones’ (2017). To date Hue and Cry have sold more than two million records worldwide.

In 2019, Hue and Cry sold out their ‘Summer Nights at the Bandstand’ show at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove park within hours and finished the year by playing live all over the UK. With the global pandemic bringing live touring to a halt during 2020/21, Hue and Cry introduced their pioneering ‘Live from Lockdown’ streaming shows which were broadcast live from the band’s Glasgow based studio and viewed online by thousands of fans around the world. A collection of their favourite tracks from these shows was released as a ‘Best of Lockdown’ album (2022).

Hue and Cry have sold tens of thousands of concert tickets worldwide. The iconic character of Roy Grace returns this May in the new stage adaptation of Picture You Dead, the tour of which arrives in Milton Keynes from Tue 6 – Sat 10 May.

The brand new stage production, Picture You Dead, which is adapted from the bestselling novel of the UK's number one crime writer Peter James, is embarking on a major UK Tour!

This production features a multi-star cast, including 2024 National Television Award-winning actor, Peter Ash, who returns to the stage following his acclaimed and unforgettably emotional exit from Coronation Street in September. Peter’s other numerous credits include Footballers’ Wives and the lead role in the National Theatre’s War Horse. Joining Peter is Fiona Wade who, following 11 years in Emmerdale, took to the stage earlier this year in the hit 2:22 A Ghost Story and she will soon be seen in the highly anticipated Fox comedy series, Going Dutch. West End favourite Jodie Steele (Bonnie & Clyde, Wicked, Heathers, SIX) will star as Roberta Kilgore and one of the nation’s favourite TV doctors, George Rainsford, (Casualty, Call the Midwife and All’s Well That Ends Well at the National Theatre), will return to reprise the role of Peter James’ famous literary detective, DSI Roy Grace, which he played in the 2023 hit production of Wish You Were Dead. George will also reunite with Fiona, who he starred alongside in 2:22 A Ghost Story. 

The World Premiere of Picture You Dead is the seventh Peter James book to be adapted for the stage by award-winning writer Shaun McKenna and is directed by Jonathan O’Boyle who has previously directed two Peter James stage adaptations, Wish You Were Dead (2023) and Looking Good Dead (2021-2022).

The story of Picture You Dead was inspired by Peter’s meeting with real-life art forger and now acclaimed copyist, David Henty: set in Brighton, DSI Grace investigates a cold case that leads him to the rarified air of fine art, but beneath the respectable veneer lurks a dark underworld of greed, deception and murder. When an unsuspecting couple unwittingly buy a potentially long-lost masterpiece in a car boot sale, they discover that their dream find is about to turn into their worst nightmare and only Grace can stop them from paying the ultimate price.

This groundbreaking production of Tchaikovsky's masterpiece caused a sensation when it premiered almost 30 years ago and has since become the most successful dance theatre production of all time. In celebration of that ongoing impact, Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake will take flight once more in this major revival, as the next generation of dancers brings it to new audiences across the UK. 

Making their debuts as The Swan/The Stranger are rising New Adventures stars, Harrison Dowzell, Jackson Fisch and Rory Macleod, alongside James Lovell, Leonardo McCorkindale and Stephen Murray as The Prince, Nicole Kabera and Ashley Shaw as The Queen, Katrina Lyndon as The Queen and the Girlfriend, and Bryony Wood as the Girlfriend.

The smash hit show Only Fools and Horses The Musical will be coming to Milton Keynes Theatre from Mon 17 – Sat 29 Mar, direct from a sold-out run in London’s West End.

Stick a pony in your pocket – The Trotters are back in Only Fools and Horses The Musical and coming to Milton Keynes this March!

Join us as we take a trip back in time, where it’s all kicking off in Peckham. While the yuppie invasion of London is in full swing, love is in the air as Del Boy sets out on the rocky road to find his soul mate, Rodney and Cassandra prepare to say ‘I do’, and even Trigger is gearing up for a date (with a person!). Meanwhile, Boycie and Marlene give parenthood one final shot and Grandad takes stock of his life and decides the time has finally arrived to get his piles sorted.

This UK Tour stars Sam Lupton (Wicked, Little Shop of Horrors) as Del Boy and Tom Major, making his professional theatre debut, as Rodney. Philip Childs will play the role of Grandad, as he did in the West End.

Georgina Hagan (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Heathers The Musical) reprises her role as Raquel, Craig Berry (The Bodyguard, Mamma Mia) returns to his role as Boycie and Nicola Munns (Spring Awakening, Don Giovanni) steps back into the high heels of his long-suffering wife Marlene. Nicola also plays the role of Cassandra.

They are joined by their original West End co-stars Lee VG (Les Miserables) as Trigger, Bradley John (Pandora’s Box) as Denzil; Darryl Paul (The Commitments, We Will Rock You) as Mike / Tony Driscoll / Cripps and Rhys Owen (The Full Monty, Spamalot); Christopher Arkeston (Oh! What a Lovely War) and Andrew Bryant (who is also the Resident Director).

The company is completed by Peter Watts (The Threepenny Opera, Assassins) as Danny Driscoll / Mickey Pearce; Richard J Hunt (Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) as Dating Agent; Gloria Acquaah-Harrison (Mawa Monologue Slam 2022 winner) as Mrs Obooko / Wedding Fitter. Kieran Andrew (The Snow Queen, The Brunch Club); Katie Paine (Heathers, We Will Rock You); Amanda Coutts (We Will Rock You, Starlight Express) and Oscar Dobbins complete the ensemble.
