A year ago the strong-armed signal caller from the state of Texas threw for 3,650 yards and 31 touchdown passes on his way to Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year honors. G.J. Kinne is dual-threat quarterback, who can also harm opponents with his legs; he led the Golden Hurricane in rushing with 561 yards (seven touchdowns) as a junior.
