I went back and watched the Thriller Bark season of One Piece and it provided me with some interesting perspective on Zoro and Sanji's perception of each other. In fact, Sanji says it straight out, that in comparison to Zoro, he just looked stupid. Sanji's words, not mine. It's a bonus episode so just kick back!

As promised this little bonus episode is about the doctor of the Strawhat Pirates. It’s short because Chopper is. That said, we’ve seen this character go from image-conscious “ monster “ to a comfortable with self, selfless, dependable doctor for the future pirate king, and the One Piece world at large. I’m going over reasons why I think Choppers character arc is actually nicely done and explain why I think even his design change post time skip is fitting for what he represents. Have a listen.  WOW, this chapter was almost a ten out of ten for me. The deep character moments, the play on Hyogoros impending death, Vegapunk's intentions revealed? You'll have to listen to see what I mean by that. This was epic, the staredowns, the hits, Queen being one of the most irredeemable characters I've seen in fiction since Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter.

Hit the Stone Cold Steve Austin music tho, because Chopper pulled up and stomped a mudhole in the virus and walked it dry. The SWERVE AT THE END OF THIS CHAPTER was "epic" for most... "meh" for me, as it wasn't half of what the Chopper stuff was this chapter, but I digress. Enjoy this week's episode. Share it with a friend and tell them to share it too. Best yall.

One Piece Chapter 1006: SPOILER ALERT.  This was a nice array of madness, chapter 1006 starts off with an excellent cover page, and once we're in the chapter, did boss Hyogouro really meet his end? What's Kaido holding over Apoo, if anything, to make him such a subordinate? Is Marco going to lose? Lastly, is Perospero the one to keep an eye on? I say YES

SPOILER ALERT:   This One Piece Chapter 1005 gave me some of my favorite character moments from  Vinsmoke Sanji and Nico Robin. I think our cook has finally learned his lesson. It's actually as beautiful as Robin to see. With his back against the wall, Sanji does what he has never done before....  he finally gets it! Robin enters the "chat" like only she can, sending a "spider" flying... incredibly proud of both of them! They've come a long way from those sea train days,

The  twirly eyebrowed cook who can take out most everyone he comes in contact with has one major "problem." He cannot bring himself to kick a woman. even when locked in pitch combat. Some see it as a "weakness" because Sanji is "putting the crew at risk." What if I told you, you weren't looking at the full picture? What if I told you that Sanji has already laid out his criteria for kicking women as he already has.... then what if I told you I see nothing wrong with Sanji's "problem" because well.... listen for the rest. SPOILER ALERT:  This one was a wild ride, I knew it would be by the title, "Kibi Dango." Oda was able to pull Tama's character off in a great way this chapter, which made me a full-on believer in her joining the crew.  As the chapter continues it strikes up a lot of theories in my head for where this art is going. I say something I've said before and that is we should not underestimate the Strawhat Pirates. We see the battles of Franky vs Sasiki, Usopp, Tama, and Nami v page 1 and Ulti, where Nami does... Nami, while Black Maria may be barking up the wrong tree. At the end of the chapter, the Scabbards are marked for death but someone is helping them... the question is who, why?? Listen to this episode!
