This week saw Racing Santander revert to type, after beating Depor the week before they lost to a team in the relegation battle to give hope to the rest. Castellon, Depor, Almeria, Cordoba and Burgos closed the gap, so with Malaga still yet to play at the time of recording it was only Las Palmas in the top 8 who didn’t take full advantage, although they did edge slightly closer with a draw.

Down the bottom it was a good week for Albacete, Eibar and Granada, all three of whom are on mini runs of their own and chat about the bottom half of the table will make up the content of part 2 of this week’s show.
