As we dive further into the New Normal, how has COVID-19 changed the way we father our children, and how does God influence us as our heavenly Father?

The New Normal is a phrase we have heard a lot lately. We acknowledge that nothing can stay the same, but what does it mean for the church? What does it mean for our faith? Does new always mean easy?

When the church, began, God gave them power to spread the gospel effectively and rapidly. As we come out of COVID-19, the church is going to need the same power to be on display to see lives transformed by the love of God.

This series has been building to this moment; Pentecost. What is the significance of Pentecost, what have we missed, and can we still experience this today?

We looked at who the Holy Spirit is. Now we look at what he does in the life of the believer and the church.

When we read Scripture, we read amazing stories of how the Holy Spirit moved among God's people. Yet we look at most churches today and don't see anything resembling that same activity. Why? Has the Spirit gone missing? Has he taken a break? Or maybe we don't understand him as we should, and it is time to turn things around and allow God to be God in our communities.

Peter and some of the other disciples go back to what they know. Jesus comes to them and gets them back on track.

In the time between Jesus' resurrection and his ascension, we see the disciples wrestling with the reality of his death and the news of his resurrection. This message, we see Thomas doubting what the others are saying, and how Jesus calms his doubts.

Jesus has died and been raised to life again, but the disciples are having a tough time with this fact. Those who haven't seen are wrestling. We wrestle in those times when the victory that Jesus has won is not all that apparent. This is why it is imperative we are grounded in truth.
