This series has been building to this moment; Pentecost. What is the significance of Pentecost, what have we missed, and can we still experience this today?

We looked at who the Holy Spirit is. Now we look at what he does in the life of the believer and the church.

When we read Scripture, we read amazing stories of how the Holy Spirit moved among God's people. Yet we look at most churches today and don't see anything resembling that same activity. Why? Has the Spirit gone missing? Has he taken a break? Or maybe we don't understand him as we should, and it is time to turn things around and allow God to be God in our communities.

Peter and some of the other disciples go back to what they know. Jesus comes to them and gets them back on track.

In the time between Jesus' resurrection and his ascension, we see the disciples wrestling with the reality of his death and the news of his resurrection. This message, we see Thomas doubting what the others are saying, and how Jesus calms his doubts.

Jesus has died and been raised to life again, but the disciples are having a tough time with this fact. Those who haven't seen are wrestling. We wrestle in those times when the victory that Jesus has won is not all that apparent. This is why it is imperative we are grounded in truth.

The completion of the Easter story. Jesus is Risen! He is alive and seated at the right hand of God.

In this short message, I invite you into the story of Jesus' death on the cross. I invite you to walk where Jesus walked, and feel what his followers would have felt.

Look at the interesting times we live in and how God is using this change up to reach into the people of our communities.
