On Monday’s episode I go absolutely iiiinnnn on my money story through university and why it was a semi shit show. I would say I’m usually a good saver but hit with the temptation of “free money” this proved not to be the case.

I’m keen to hear if your experiences were similar or completely different! I let you know what I would’ve done differently in terms of money and how I could’ve set myself up a lot better by making some small changes.

I really enjoyed reflecting on all of my decisions because I can now pass it on to others! Who hopefully won’t make those same decisions 😅🤞🏽 It’s a big choice to go to uni in itself and I don’t think it’s right for everyone. But if it is right for you this might be your ep!

A few weeks ago now I sat down with the lovely Courtney behind @themanuss and we discussed her financial journey to date! A good friend of mine recommended I follow Courtney and I knew I wanted to bring her on straight away.

Courtney is so many things but just to name a few; mum of 3 (absolutely love seeing the fam on the gram 😍) business owner, financial content creator, inspiration and all round amazing person! 💯 Courtney has had her own personal struggles with debt but managed to come out the other side after educating herself!

After recording this episode with Janine, I came to realise how increasingly prevalent cryptocurrencies are in NZ (as well as well implemented globally) ✨ To me, I saw them as this big scary unknown - but it’s actually extremely interesting and after reflection has a lot of benefits.

Janine is amazing and completely broke this topic down in an approachable and easy to understand way. Janine also touches on the importance of online scams etc which I think is incredibly relevant! Can’t wait for you all to listen.

Insurance is something we’ve all heard of, know the gist of what it’s all about, some of us may already have it! But for me I never really knew why it was important to have insurance at a young age.

I’m not talking car insurance I think we can all agree why we need that 🤪 (maybe some more than others). We are talking life, health, income protection etc... what’s the deal with this type of insurance??
