I sat down with Twumasi, owner and founder of Premium Studios. I was originally really keen to chat to Twumasi because I saw how he’d created an impressive online presence through his clothing brand.

I have always loved gaining insight into how people start their businesses and I thought this was an awesome opportunity for us to learn about how you can change custom AS colour tees into an actual brand. I loved speaking with Twumasi, his personal mindset and attitude towards what he does was inspiring. There’s nothing more exciting than feeling the true passion and energy people get from doing what they love!

Twumasi went from a full time job in the rat race to being his own boss towards the end of last year. Who doesn’t want to be their own boss? He will provide us with his story, tips and thoughts on how he has achieved such awesome things at only 24!

Sarah Hindle - General Manager of Tech Futures Lab will tell us about her experience with education both personally and in her career. Tech Futures Lab is a private graduate school which focuses on the cross road between education and technology. It was founded by Frances Valintine to navigate this time of advanced technology which has a huge effect on business and the economy.

I visited tech futures lab for a uni trip last year and loved their commitment to a forward thinking and future focused environment. In this episode we speak about passion, purpose and how education can contribute to that.

Embracing technology and new styles of educating is so important and I think it will be really interesting for those of us who have been through university or are wanting to go, to see how university is not always the one stop shop option for every type of learner. Something that I think is interesting about this podcast is the discussion of @linkedin which for some young people is a nonexistent platform. It is definitely underused by a lot of people and should be considered another tool that can launch your career forward. Keep an eye out for this one, it’s a bit different and has the best nuggets of info you don’t want to be missing!

You may have heard of the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. While attempting to read this book at 13 (🤦🏼‍♀️😂) I first heard the phrase compound interest, it was also the first time I was introduced to having a ‘money mindset’. We touch on this a little bit but in future episodes I’d like to discuss this money mindset further and how to actually create one for yourself!
