Carolyn Charismata Weaver joins us today to discuss her new book, "The Bride Arising: A Vision of a Bridal Journey." This is an incredible vision given to her about healing from life and trauma with Jesus as the bridegroom. The grime of the horror and shame of abuse and sin is gently washed away and replaced with purity, lovingly redressed in a white dress, bedecked in jewels and crown, wed to our Savior, and then prepared for battle. Carolyn speaks knowledgeably of trust in a faithful God and how our identity becomes that of who God made us to be in the first place. Claire was in her second year of university when she went into counseling to deal with abuse from growing up. The counseling didn't seem to get to the root issues and her superpower of compartmentalizing broke down, leaving her with a re-occurring nightmare she couldn't shake. Diving into the nightmare led her into unlocking a past of SRA. Her past is still pretty fractured and not chronological yet, but Jesus has come in and she shares His redemption in the midst of her pain. Follow Claire on her journey.

She didn't know who to trust, didn't know who to go to, didn't know where God was in it all and how trustworthy He was or wasn't in that whole process. Four years ago Rachelle boarded a cruise ship for a vacation with friends and her life took an ominous turn. A neurological sea sickness type illness took over and refused to leave. Rachelle's foster dad told her that she would be strategically healed from the inside out and that is proving to be true. God has been leading her through deep healing, taking her back through the horrific abuse from growing up with a mentally ill and high level warlock father who was extremely abusive and neglectful. Rachelle's life was rocked by trauma after trauma. In the midst was two years of an oasis of healing with a Christian foster couple who prayed over her and soaked God's love into her. She was returned back to years more of abuse. After having children of her own, she made sure that the seven generations at least of abuse stopped with her. She didn't go back into the abuse and healing from it until she got sick after the cruise. In the past four years she if finding healing and God is bringing deliverance from the past. God told her she would dance again, which seemed impossible with the cane she was using to stabilize herself from the balance issues. But now she is teaching dancing. Psalm 30:11 "You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness."
