Only The Valiant

Let's take a trip in Quantum and Woody's ice cream truck, and navigate the espionage world with Ninjak. Two new books to discuss, and a lot packed into them for us to unpack. Tune in!

Every week, OTV presents VCR, a quick look at the new Valiant Comics out on comic store shelves today!

First, we KLANG with the world's worst superhero team (and brothers), and take a look at their new book, Quantum + Woody! #1. We dive into the timeline presented in this book, to make sure we have it straight, and look at some of the better moments from the book. We tie a couple things back to previous Quantum and Woody stories, and take some guesses about where things may go from here.

Second, we follow Ninjak as he delves deeper into the mysteries of Ninja-K #2. We have a front up feature, a main feature, and a back up feature. How might they all be tied together? Who is the real villain of the piece? Our theories evolve as we dig into this issue. Plus, lots and lots of parallels!

Spoiler alert! We've read the books, and are going to assume you have too. Don't listen until you have read these new Valiant Comics.

We also dive into some of the themes present in the story, and how they are reflected, and what some of the takeaways are. What is the deeper metaphor here? Is there anything to learn?
