VCR is a new weekly show in the OTV Network, giving you a blast of discussion in this week's new Valiant Comics.
The OTV crew puts the comma in Ivar, Timewalker, as we discuss time travel, grammar, Ice Pirates, olde english, extremely large numbers, Promethea, Doctor Who, H.A.R.D. Corps and other recent reads.
We discuss The Death-Defying Doctor Mirage from Valiant Comics. We discuss all the great concepts introduced, what we enjoy about Shan's story, and work through our understanding of the sometimes confusing events in this story.
OTV takes on the latest Eternal Warrior story: Days of Steel by Peter Milligan, Cary Nord, and Brian Reber. Is this a fantastic Eternal Warrior story (as some of us think), or is there something missing (as some others of us think)? We discuss Gilad's eternal fight.
OTV gives the rundown on Harbinger: Faith #0, a comic that is delightful as the character. Also, we talk about the recent phenomenon of television shows based on comics, and how that might apply to Valiant.
It's time to look back and celebrate the year that was as we discuss the very best stories, events, characters, art, writing and more from Valiant Comics in 2014.
The New Year is a time to reflect on the year that was, and to take a look forward to the coming year, and reflect on what we want to accomplish in this new year. We do this, with a comic book angle. We take a look at how we did on last year's resolutions, and make new resolutions for 2015.
We finish up 2014 with two topics for your enjoyment! First up: Bloodshot #25. Is this issue a great cap to a great series, and a celebration of everything we love about Bloodshot? Or is it just confusing? Next up, we revisit our ongoing discussion about the tentpoles of the Valiant Universe, but this time, featuring your comments and feedback about who and what the tentpoles are, and what makes something a tentpole anyway?
Archer, Armstrong, Quantum, and Woody have finished their hobo adventure, now it is our turn to get in on the action as we discuss The Delinquents mini-series from Valiant Comics. Two of us loved it, one of us hated it. We talk about the moments we liked, the moments we hated, the unique visual storytelling, and lot more. Plus, a conversation about team-ups in general, with what we love, what we don't like, and the team-ups we most want to see from Valiant.
