Meanwhile, Andrea Horwath and Steven Del Duca both announced their decision to resign as leaders of their respective parties, while Mike Schreiner got re-elected as the only Green Party member at Queens Park representing his riding of Guelph. The question is: will Doug Ford keep his promises to Seniors and will his government satisfy the asks of the CARP 5? And, in news across the pond, the British celebrated the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. It marks 70 years of the Queen's reign on the throne.

Rohmer is a Canadian national treasure who graces the June/July issue of Zoomer Magazine. He joins us to share his story of participating in the invasion of Normandy on D-Day. He also tells Jane about the secret to his longevity (he's 98-years-old!) and how keeping active at any age is the way to go!
