“RAWR” - We cleanse our palettes of the worst month in the show’s history by revisiting Jurassic Park in its 3D re-release. Along the way, we praise the combination of animatronics and CG, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum’s performances, and much more.

“Icky” - We praise Andrew Niccol’s sometimes competent direction, a committed performance by William Hurt, and the surprisingly effective score, but little else in our review of the latest Stephenie Meyer film adaption, The Host.

"Pretty Okay” - In our review of Olympus Has Fallen, we praise director Antoine Fuqua for populating the movie with good action scenes, but come away thinking that everything else was just OK. Also: We speculate what Aaron Eckhart did in our city, Fort Wayne, during the one week he lived here back in the late 1990s.

"Neal's Monitors” - In our review of The Call, we question Halle Berry’s taste in projects, wish Abigail Breslin had stayed fully-clothed, and draw comparisons to Alex Cross. Also: Neal complains about everything from the movie’s message to the amount of computer monitors on Halle Berry’s desk.

"Lewisism” - We take a trip to the land of Oz, as envisioned by director Sam Raimi in Oz the Great and Powerful, and debate James Franco’s merits as an actor, praise Raimi for the way he leaves his thumbprint on the proceedings, and listen to Neal condemn the movie for being misogynistic, racist and pedophilic – when it may, in fact, be none of those things.

“Bill Nighy Does It Again” - In our review of the giant disappointment, Jack the Giant Slayer, we lament the downward trajectory of Bryan Singer’s career, deride the movie’s visual effects, and diagnose the screenplay with the ever-dreaded “Multiple Endings Syndrome.” Also, we unveil a new game.

"The Musical Stylings of Russell Crowe" - This week, we discuss the highs and lows of the 85th Academy Awards before concluding with short reviews of Argo and The Master.

“Carl On Duty” - Instead of reviewing A Good Day to Die Hard, we decided to jump back to the beginning of the venerable action franchise and discuss its first installment, Die Hard, a movie that one of us had never seen. In our review, we applaud Bruce Willis’ performance as the in-over-his-head John McClane, praise the supporting characters and the bits of business in the script, and talk about Die Hard’s place in the action genre.

“Dr. Neal” - This week, we spend some time chatting about the Netflix series House of Cards and what it means for the future of television before getting into our review of the new Steven Soderbergh movie, Side Effects. In the review, we disagree on how effective the cinematography was, discuss Rooney Mara and Jude Law’s performances, and question if the plot got too convoluted for its own good.

“Hipsters” - Special guest Simon Tatum returns to the show to review Warm Bodies with us. Along the way, we discuss the movie’s music, how it targets the Twilight demographic, whether it works as an allegory, praise Nicholas Hoult’s performance, and Joe complains about all of the hipster elements.
