I met Jafet in San Antonio at the Lonesome Rose. He was there with JT and I told them both I'd like to have them on the show. Jafet is a local musician in San Antonio and he recently released an album titled, The Early Years, a collection of older tracks he re-crafted and remastered. Jafet and I connected over our shared faith and I'm so grateful we were finally able to record a conversation, even though we're in different hemispheres now.
As well as our conversation, this episode includes one of Jafet's latest songs (Whisper) at the end of the episode. Find it at 1hr 10sec.
Enjoy!
Scott is another new Aussie friend and we had a delightful time. I met Scott at an OnCue talent agency information session. I first overheard Scott speaking with another curious attendee and I immediately thought he might make a good guest on the show. After the session I had the chance to officially meet him outside of the venue and we exchanged numbers. Scott grew up in Tasmania and I so appreciate his willingness to join me on OIMC. Enjoy!
Sam is a brand new friend here in Sydney and I met him through my beloved wife, Rupa. Rupa and Sam met in University and were fast friends. He is passionate about theology and the gospel and I am so grateful he was able to join me! Enjoy!
I met Daniel my first Sunday at church in Australia. We hit it off immediately and I'm so grateful he was so willing to come and be my guest. We had a terrific time and I really appreciate his openness and willingness to share his heart.
Thank you for listening!
Hallelujah! Our first Australian guest recorded in Australia!
I met Chris my first evening in Sydney and he is such a delight. He's even lended me a guitar for my time here in NSW. Chris is a local photographer and we had a lovely time chatting about faith and all sorts of things. We were also joined by my lovely wife Rupa as a co-host and I am so thankful he was willing to be my first Aussie guest.

Oops I Missed Church is now being produced in Sydney, Australia and might this episode serve as an homage to San Antonio and the forever home it will be. Enjoy our first video episode, produced with the help of the beloved Anders and MJ at Brick, in Southtown San Antonio.
This conversation was recorded on June 20th, 2023. JT is a local drummer in San Antonio and plays in the bands Chavela and The Wild Sweet. I met JT in 2019 or early 2020 and I've been wanting to record a conversation ever since. JT is an excellent drummer and I'm so glad we finally had the chance to share a conversation. I really appreciate how kind-hearted and creative he is and I'm excited to see and hear all of his future creations! This conversation aired the Sunday after this year's "Micah Didn't Die Day." I (Micah, the host) was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident ten years ago and I am so grateful to be alive and to enjoy the beauty of humanity through Oops I Missed Church. Thank you so much for listening!
