Ralph loses his temper and then learns to keep it in the face of grandfather’s verbal attacks. A fine contraption is lost when it breaks and grandfather sends Uncle Levi home
Grandfather makes a powerful good trade which allows Uncle Levi and Ralph to repair the rake uninterrupted. Ralph also learns to let grandfather be the best at hay pitching.
