The greeting of crocus and daffodils covered in morning mist.

Pre-historic-Survivor-Beings gather from all directions,

they dance in circle above me in rhythmic patterns,

joining in a chorus as they arrive safely from migration.

The chrous is other-worldly and profoundly healing.

A resonance that strikes within my deepest soul.

An opportunity for stillness,

for reclaiming peace & quiet.

Standing in Wu-ji,

I welcome the beating-bugle-like rattling to my Heart and Throat Chakra.

I am honored.

I am loved.

I am free.

I am a survivor.

Spring 2011 after attending the WMC conference, totally inspired..
This is the last set that I mixed before my 12-year journey to heal mySelf.
I refer to this era as The Great Escape.

This is a live recording of Jenna3Fires mixing vinyl records on the SkyDeck rooftop in downtown Kalamazoo. J3F and Willie Love ran a Thursday weekly event that featured many artists from Kalamazoo, GrandRapids, Detroit, Chicago and Denver.

The recording was deep in the archives and forgotten about until recently; it was recorded the summer of 2010 on a beautiful sunny day on the Sky|Deck using a portable iKey. No editing, raw like sashimi ;)
