How do we find the willingness to say "here I am" to God, regardless of whether we feel capable of fulfilling the task he's laid out before us? If we want to live a life of service to our King, we have to be willing to get past the discomfort or pain surrounding the tasks He has given us and step into the revelation of His glory.

We've been talking about heaven for the last two weeks - the heaven we will experience at the end of our days and the heaven of here and now, God's presence with us throughout this life. This week we tie it all together, looking at why all of this mysterious stuff about heaven matters for us today.

Last week we talked about Heaven - the home we are journeying toward throughout this life. This week we look at Heaven in the present tense and how Jesus has made a way for us to experience the essence of Heaven, here and now.

C.S. Lewis wrote, "If you read history you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were precisely those who thought most of the next."

This week we turn our focus to heaven, where we find strength for our journey and the passion to point the way home for others.

When the Apostle Paul wrote the book of Galatians, he wanted to help his readers get back to the simple Gospel - the truth that we are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus only. This week, we "pivot" away from Paul's main message to answer the question, "How should this Gospel play out in our lives?" And, perhaps more saliently, "What should we do when there's still so much sin mixed in with the good parts of our lives?"
