  • Sniper Rifles and Spirits: Interview with The Military Medium, Dean McMurray

    PSYCHIC MEDIUMSHIP

Yeah, yeah, Open Loops brought you a psychic, and of course, we ask about the election...

    But that aside:

Dean McMurray, the world-renowned Military Medium, joins Greg this episode to discuss if we should hand psychics military-grade weaponry, but also if we should spend time during Basic Training teaching soldiers how to align their chakras.

And of course, your host Greg gets scared when psychics come on the show.

Is Greg going to turn out okay, Dean? Is he?

That's all he wants to know on this episode, and he's right to ask.

    Because Dean senses those things.

Dean McMurray is clairvoyant, clairsentient, claircognizant, clairgustant, and even experiences clairtangency. He has mediumship abilities, he can remote view, he's dowsed, he's found missing people, he does intuitive real estate consulting, and he has communicated with extraterrestrial entities.

And he also happens to be a 24 year Army Veteran.

When military rigidity meets midnight hauntings, you know you're in for a treat.

Also, Project Stargate. Secret Military Undercover Ops. UFOS. Exorcisms. All in this episode.

Dean McMurray serves it up. And it definitely tastes better than the army food they show in the movies.

.....But like, is Greg gonna be ok?

    LOVE & SHOW BUSINESS

Jessi Jordan is a dynamic musical force.

Beyonce, Pink, and Jessica Simpson, all of whom she's done releases for, definitely think so.

She's also has an amazingly fun podcast called #LoveTalkTuesday where she goes live, takes questions from the audience, and spills the honest truth about love with her closest friends from all over the world.

She also released a new single called "Circles" that's extremely catchy.

She has a book on holistic skin care.

She also went to Columbia for engineering.

    Are you intimidated yet?

    Greg was.

And then he had this AMAZING conversation.

    We discover:

---Should Myers-Briggs types date other Myers-Briggs?

---What are practical steps to actually loving yourself?

---Is the music industry one big scam?

    ---Is Beyonce in the Illuminati?

One INTJ meets one ENFP.....but let's be real, this episode is ALL ENFP.

  • Gut Guided Gal Grand Slams Greg's Ego: Casey Edward at the Bat

    LAW OF ATTRACTION

Greg's not into sports, but he knows when he's lost a game.

Casey Edward, Life Coach, Podcaster, Entrepreneur, Meditation Junkie, Avid Adventurer, and Manifestor-Extraordinaire joins Greg in a discussion where despite his attempt to connect with her "on the level"...he just doesn't.

  • Carpe Diem: A Conversation with Greg's High School English/Drama Teacher, Ricki Lombardo

She taught Greg about existentialism before he even knew he was having an "existential crisis."

Ricki directed Greg in plays and musicals in high school.

He was her Mayor of Who in Seussical, her Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple, and when she directed Les Mis Greg's Junior year, Greg played the Master of the House.

Also Greg once wrote a musical number to Catcher in the Rye because of her class. She gave Greg an A.

    J.D. Salinger woulda been piiiiiiiissed.....

Ricki Lombardo was a legendary English teacher and theatre director at Dover-Sherborn High School in Dover, Massachusetts for 37 years and  she happens to be one of the most naturally gifted communicators and storytellers anyone in that community (parents and students) ever had the chance to encounter.

    She changed lives.

And continues to with all her life lessons.

She taught to the heart before the mind. And it shows in this interview.

    "Seize the day."

Listen in and she might transform your life, too.

  • What Even Is "Spirituality" in Los Angeles?: Interview with Fellow Looper Samantha Colicchio

    MANIFESTATION

Around ten years ago, Samantha Colicchio used the Law of Attraction to manifest an iPod out of thin air in a New York City taxicab.

Now she's not sure if there's an evil cabal in charge of enslaving the masses or if meditation is the stuff of Satan.

One thing's for sure: she's one of Greg's best friends from college. And if there's anything these two aspire to have, beyond entertaining these very deep and tangential conversations for rest of their friendship, it's to have the wisdom of an old bearded mystic in an art gallery on a completely free 10 day trip to Israel.

    They love those guys.

    Find out:

    • How does the ego relate to success with The Law of Attraction?
    • How does Samantha know that there is a higher power?
    • Is Judaism designed for people with OCD?

Put your listening ears in a chair and hold on tight.

    It's Hava Nagila time.

  • In Honor of Labor Day, This Episode is NSFW: Interview with Podcast Paul

    ROCK N’ ROLL

Podcast Paul is his name. And making Greg feel guilty about the temptations of living the rockstar lifestyle is DEFINITELY his game.

    He plays it well.

Paul was a local celebrity in a rock band. Paul told Greg the conversation could be about anything, as Paul studies religious philosophy.

    What do we cover?

    Drugs, sex, self-destruction.

    Welcome to Church.

  • In Case of Cancel Culture, Break Open This Episode: Interview with Risk Communications Expert Leonard Greenberger

    APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY

Greg needs a preventative solution for this podcast in case he says something wrong.  As lots of people in Greg's life know, he's prone to saying controversial, provocative things. Oftentimes for his own amusement. Oftentimes just for a reaction. It's sick. It's messed up. He doesn't mean it. He's sorry and he hopes he'll do better.  Do you feel better about Greg? If you feel one-percent better, it's because of our guest, crisis-mode smooth speaker Leonard Greenberger who talks about how to effectively get out of disasters in a fully human way and deeply effective way (and it even works for sociopaths!).  Leonard Greenberger has a podcast called What to Say When Things Get Tough and a book with the same name. He is an academic researcher, but more importantly, a practitioner and consultant to businesses regarding "risk communication" when they make terrible mistakes and just do general dumb stuff.  But it works for your personal life, too!  Clinton, Reagan,  Felicity Huffman. It's all very insightful. It's on this show.  Greg used one of the techniques discussed here at his day job a few weeks ago and for once, he didn't feel like a sociopath.  We are so sorry for all that he's wrought.  Show Links:  What to Say When Things Get Tough: Business Communication Strategies for Winning People Over When They're Angry, Worried and Suspicious of Everything You Say by Leonard Greenberger, https://amzn.to/3hBr1GD What to Say When Things Get Tough - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/id1519077522
