मिट्टी मेरे वतन सी पाना इतना आसान कहां
इस चमन की हवा में सांस ले पाना इतना आसान कहां
हो सकता है आसाँ इक बार को माना
पृथ्वी से सूर्य तक जाना और लौटकर आना
मगर
इस शौर्य धरा को जन्भूमी कह पाना
इतना आसान का कहां
हो सकता है आसाँ इक बार को माना
मां का बेटा, मां का लाडला, मां का लाल सुन पाना
मगर
माँ भारती का बेटा, भारत मां का लाडला,
भारत मां का लाल सुन पाना,
इतना आसान कहाँ
हो सकता है आसाँ एक बार को माना
अपनों के नाम, उनके एहसान का बदला चुका पाना
मगर
सुभाष चंद्र बोस, भगत सिंह, राजगुरु, सुखदेव, चंद्रशेखर आजाद, महत्मा गाँधी,सगरमल गोपा को अपना बता पाना
इतना आसान कहां।
हो सकता है आसाँ एक बार को माना
मरकरी और प्लूटो का एक जगह पर आना
मगर कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक
एक देश हो जाना इतना आसान कहां।
मिल जाएगी ये मिट्टी
जिस किसी भी दिन जिस किसी भी मिट्टी में
घुल जाएगी मेरे उपवन की सुगंध
उस हवा में उस जमीं में
करेंगे याद वो सदियों तक
ये अजूबा, ये करिश्मा
मिटा ना सकेगा वहाँ से कोई
मेर कदमों, मेरे कर्मों के निशांं
करेंगे बात कि आया था
मां भारती का लाल वहाँ
नहीं रहेगा जमी का वो हिस्सा
फिर किसी और के नाम
लहराएगा तिरंगा हर दिल में वहाँ
और बनेगा वहाँ
इक नया भारत, इक नया हिंदुस्तान।
