We take a look at using flash outside with some tips, tricks and techniques to get you started.  This how to guide will help strobists master outdoor flash photography. Unlike using off camera flash indoors,when outside you are restricted by the environment. It's important to look at the ambient light as one layer, and flash as an additional layer. So the best method is to get the ambient light just how you like, and then add in flash to personal taste.

So for tonight's show of OPEN SHUTTER  I wanted to talk about - Finding Inspiration for your photography during the off months.... What I consider the off months would be November and March.. the  time between Fall and Winter and then Winter and Spring..... We will be discussing different ways of getting over these humps that people have to deal with....  So we will be showing photos from these times and show you that there is beauty all over the place any time of the year.
