David's life comes crumbling down. He makes a simple decision to stay home instead of leading his troops into battle and one bad decision spirals to the next. The end result is darker than he could have ever imagined. We kick off the fourth epic of David's life with the story of his fall.

What if you don't fear? The thoughts you entertain, you empower for what you think on, you speak and what you speak will become your reality. If you think negative thoughts about your spouse you will speak negatively to you spouse and before long, your relationship with your spouse will be as negative as you feared. The Scriptures show us a better way. Choose gratitude. Thank God for the work He is doing in your life. Replace the enemy's script with a better narrative and then speak it. This is Worship.

David's focus shifts as he learns that God is going to give him an heir who will sit on the throne of God's Kingdom forever. David finds himself a part of a very big story and his art reveals how he began to envision that narrative. We learn to broaden our vision as well.

We follow David's story as he brings the Ark into his new capital and participates in the first Corporate Worship Service in Jerusalem. We watch David approach corporate worship from the perspective of giving to both God and People.

David as he takes the throne set the standard of behavior for himself amazingly high. Tonight we study how aiming for perfection drives us to Grace.

Comparing Psalms 18 to David's narrative in 1st and 2nd Samuel reveals how much more David sees in his story than any historian could tell. David finally reaches and the top and all he can say is "God did it".

Amy uses David's lament Psalms and a simple metaphor of Lobster Growth to unlock the power of getting vulnerable in challenging times so that we can grow stronger inward, outward, and upward.
