We kick off 2022 with how to see the new year and thrive in it. First, Shawna fasted from sugar and caffeine in December (!) for one reason alone—she was desperate. Then, the only way we can get back into God’s presence is to come under the Sword of Justice. But none can survive that. Which begs the question:  How can we ever get back into paradise? Next, Shawna’s dad was in his last hours early New Year’s Day and Shawna wasn’t ready to let him go because her dad had loved her so well; she didn’t want to give that up. Then, when you pray, “Lord fill me with the knowledge of your will,” you’re not praying, “Lord show me what you want me to do today.” Your praying, “Lord show me the sweep of your great story of love and my part in it!” And finally, one thing from 2021 that Shawna is pumped about carrying into 2022.
