Opera tends to bring plenty of drama to the stage, but financial and leadership woes behind the scenes at Opera Australia have been stealing the spotlight over the last few years.

The company is now raising the curtain on a new leadership team, installing a new chairman, CEO and music director in the hope of making a fresh start.
