Today Dania Yadago Andreas joins Perry and Shawna.  Dania grew up in severe poverty in the Middle East. Her family was the only Christian family in their Muslim village and they suffered much persecution for their strong faith in Jesus. 

The year that Dania received a shoebox through Operation Christmas Child her life and her family’s journey was changed forever.  Today Dania works with Operation Christmas Child, telling her own story and helping children around the world discover God’s love through OCC! 

First Dania shares what it was like growing up in her Middle Eastern village.  Then she shares how she fell in love with Jesus as a child.  Next Dania takes us to that moment when she opened her Christmas Shoebox:  It was a springboard into a brand new life!  Then she shares how the reality of Jesus came to life as she opened her shoebox. 

Next Dania shares the most precious gift that was in her shoebox, it was like oxygen for an astronaut!  Then she shares her family’s journey to America but how it almost didn’t happen when a police officer came to her home to execute her dad.  It’s a miraculous story of God changing this police officer’s heart!

Next Dania, now in America, set foot in the Operation Christmas Child warehouse and looked with wonder at where her new life had begun.  Then Dania shares how her story reached full circle as she handed out shoeboxes to children in the Philippines!
