We have a very important question for you, but first let’s start with “how do you do?”
Good, we hope. Now, let’s skip “what’s new?” And instead ask how do you to-do?
With things to remember and projects to pursue, what is the way that works best for you?
To take your thoughts and turn them into a list of well-defined tasks to get through.
An app for your phone? There’s more than a few. Or maybe just paper and pen and some glue?
Whether it’s the teeth you brush or the dishes you do, the emails you send or the drafts you review.
An appointment to make or library book to renew, so many tasks are clogging the queue.
While shopping, to remember to get more shampoo, and don’t forget peas for the stew!
Come lend us an ear (possibly two!) for another episode with the OHAC crew.
Jack pivots some tables, Mikhail buys the wrong tool, and Mark has a pizza toolbelt full of cold cuts.

So I know we’ve had a lot of fun today, but we need to talk about checking in. It’s important to do every once in a while. So, how’s it going? Seen any good movies lately? Have you drank enough water today? How’s that book you’ve been reading? When’s the last time you’ve painstakingly analyzed all of your goals, relationships, career prospects, hobbies, and toilet paper choices in your life and decided which get how much of your finite time and attention? Are you living to your fullest potential? How’s that house plant that you’ve really been meaning to re-pot but just haven’t taken the time to get to the store to grab more potting soil? Cool, good luck with that. Anyway, Jack, Mikhail, and Mark yammer on about some tech and/or sales stuff in this episode. Enjoy.

We’re in for it folks. That’s right, this description is gonna use semicolons. Cuddle up with your favorite niche punctuation and get ready because Mikhail critiques his inconvenient encounters with international tax laws and inattentive coders; Mark gets taken on an emotional rollercoaster in the search for his lost disc which might not be in Kansas anymore; Jack buys a treadmill to compensate for the walks his dog refuses to take; and, in a totally unbelievable turn of events, they figure out how to go back in time and become a sponsor for the 89th Annual Hopkins Raspberry Festival! Scrolling so stoically, the podcast peruser parses a perfectly prosaic pandect packed with platypodes. Inexplicably all about alliteration, Mark, Mikhail, and Mack make mirthful scrutiny of somewhat silly thoughts and timely topical topics. Illustrative instances include ingenious designations for digital devices, flummoxing phantom file backups, and bothersome bugs in banking / baseball brograms. Well, this description has gone careening off a cliff more times than an animated jeep caught in a checkpoint loop. Anyway, they also play a text-adventure game or whatever.

This podcast will damage your phone. You should move it to the Trash. Save yourself from having to hear Jack, Mikhail, and Mark prattle on about bank accounts, data migration, statistics, and that meme. You know the one. You don’t want to hear about UPS, software licensing, or the fast inverse square root algorithm. In fact, don’t just delete this podcast, delete your browsing history, contacts, and all your photos. You know, just to be safe, completely disassemble your phone into its component pieces and take a walk around town, disposing of each piece in a separate trash can until you can breathe the fresh air in deeply, finally free of our ever-encroaching AI overlords.

Strap in your earbuds and get ready for 2:19:47 of episode featuring a 4-door scooter, 6 feet of Mark, and a singular joke. Get a load of these 3 idiots, Mark, Jack, and Mikhail, who didn’t even know the title of this episode the entire time. I mean, c’mon, what are they even doing? Tryna set up wireless printing using the Advanced Method? Remove the DRM from an ebook file in Minecraft? Read a book inside a dog’s stomach? Ridiculous. And I haven’t even mentioned the chickens.

This episode depicts the gruesome fate of Mark, Jack, and Mikhail, three lost technology enthusiasts trapped in an unending corner case corner by menacing locals who harvest human frustration. As the time of Mark’s baseball game nears, they attempt to escape through a discussion surrounding an IMDB page only to realize: we are the menacing locals.

You know that corner of the room where you just kinda dump stuff? That picture frame you keep meaning to hang up. That t-shirt you won at an intramural sports tournament. The set of hex-wrenches you pulled out of the toolbox weeks ago with the intention of tightening that chair leg that’s a bit wobbly. Another reusable grocery bag that you bought because you forgot to bring the ones you already had. It grows. Day by day, week by week. Neglected, but ever-looming. Somehow staying out of sight and out of mind until it has grown to encompass all but the other far corner of the room. If only you had taken a couple minutes here and there, every once in a while to put things back where they belong, you wouldn’t be picking out your slow, careful steps like you’re walking through 2 feet of snow. Anyway, come listen to this episode of OHAC where Mikhail, Mark, and Jack slog through 3 months of garbage that’s accumulated in the show notes.

You are you, a person with a ton of free time and a rubik’s cube you will never finish. You are bored out of your mind and have run out of things to do. You decide to listen to a podcast. “Operation: Have A Conversation”. You figure it will be a good way to pass the time. After all, what else is there to do? You listen to Mark, Jack, and Mikhail play a text-based adventure generated by an artificial intelligence. Why should you worry? You can handle anything!
“Well, if you insist” says Torren.
You say “How did you get here?”
“Seems like I made it just in time.” Torren scratches his chin and looks around expectantly.
You say, “In time for what?”
“We don’t have the time to spare.”
“Well, I guess you will have to.”
“Fine.”
