Time is an illusion, the year 2021 doubly so. Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the standardized end of the decentralized arm of the Internet’s plumbing lies a really simple protocol for syndication. Clinging to this is a mostly harmless, audio-based feed whose infrequent updates feature content so amazingly niche that the show notes are often a garbled mess of obscure references. This episode is no exception, with Mark, Mikhail, and Jack maintaining a conversation much in the same way that bricks don’t.

This is your final chance. After this, there is no un-reading this description. You stop after this sentence—the story ends, you go on with your life, blissfully unaware of what follows. Or, you read to the end—to learn about how Jack, Mikhail, and Mark discuss audio routing, fitted t-shirts, VM’s, VPN’s, and the sandy texture of creatine, only to realize it was about the Metaverse the entire time. The choice is yours to make, but if you’ve made it this far, you already have.

Having fun isn’t hard when you have an ereader and online access to your local library’s collection of ebooks. Join Jack, Mark, and Mikhail for an extended discussion of keyboard shortcuts, books, and MacBooks with a healthy sprinkling of smooth segues between topics. Like, really smooth. Like, smoother than a rock eroded by wind, rain, and a mountain river then polished with a baby’s bottom. Smooth.

On this episode of OHAC, you can hear their philosophizations on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, its relation to the Blackfeet Nation, and truth; all based on an episode of the Psychology Podcast which was generously sprinkled with charming Canadian affectations.
