Lou's guest is Olympia LePoint. She helped launch 28 NASA Space Shuttle missions into space and is hailed the "New Einstein" by her fans and named the "Modern Day Hidden Figure" by People Magazine. In her youth, she overcame severe poverty, a stabbing, and failing math scores but went on to become an award-winning rocket scientist, author and she gave the TED talk "Reprogramming Your Brain to Overcome Fear."
Lou and Olympia discuss the significance of space exploration, the recent space tourism by Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos, her latest book Answers Unleashed II: The Science of Attracting What You Want, her new decision-making theory called Quantum Deciding, the adversities she's overcome in her life to becoming the person she is today, her involvement in STEM and helping our future children, and if she has any interest in exploring space herself.

In this episode, Lou discusses the consequences of college athletes getting paid with his first caller Michael. Second caller Shannon is numb to today's biased media and asks Lou who we can trust in the media without an agenda. Lou gives his opinion on the 50 Democratic members of the Texas House of Representatives who fled the state and if they should be punished for their actions. He explains why the Haitian president was assassinated and who it benefited politically. Lou closes the show on whether we should send in the National Guard to control the violence in Chicago.
This show is about trying to fix heavy societal problems in a practical way, using common sense logic, and reasoning. Lou brings his perspective as a former police officer, global personal security specialist to some of the most iconic companies and individuals on the planet. However, Lou’s most important perspective as a father. In the end, it's about us handing over a better place for the next generation.
Our show is interactive with our audience, callers, and renowned guests. No topics are ignored, however, be prepared to get an earful and interact as there are no sound-bite answers to these meaningful questions.
Our show is passionate yet not snarky nor patronizing – we listen to both sides, ask relevant questions, stay on topic, and then Lou chimes in with a recap and practical breakdown with problem-solving that lays out a foundation for change – “heavy lifting” rather than kicking the can down the road.

I'm Lou Palumbo. I spent 53 years in law enforcement and a lot of years traveling, listening, and learning from people smarter than me.
This show is called Operation Truth because that's the…
Every week I take on the things this country can't seem to talk about without going at each other's throats. Guns. Immigration. The media. The technology watching all of us. I'll tell you what I've seen firsthand, I'll tell you when I don't know something, and I'll ask you to fact check me.
But I'm going to ask you for three things while we do this. Civility. Decency. Respect. Those left the conversation somewhere along the way, and I think that costs us more than any single issue does.
Mostly, this show is about our children. My generation broke a lot of what they were supposed to believe in. The least we can do now is be honest with them.
You don't have to agree with me. I'll still be your friend.
