Opi & the Bear

We go from love to hate to start the show as Ryan shifts gears from the normal "Show Me Some Love" to discuss the crazy trade deadline as he runs down them and we give a few thoughts to some of them. Bear soap boxes the Roquan trade out of anger, frustration, and confusion. Bear finds a song about AJ's life this week. We do a round table for who was the winners and losers at the trade deadline. This one goes long because of all the trade talk.

We know you missed us last week, just admit it! Double duty this week but it didn't take too long. Ryan catches us up on some other leagues and talks about some of the big point getters in the past couple weeks. Bear goes on a small rant about the Yankees coverage and how bad ESPN is…again. And then we talk our predictions as always. The special treat this week is learning the names of the week 7 games which is our grudge match games we call bowl games.

The week 5 recap is decent but after Ryan gives his love away, Bear has story time and this one is OFF THE RAILS! We follow that 5 minutes of laughter up with another 5 minutes of laughter as AJ recaps the Bud league to a particularly funny song that at first, the guys thought AJ made. Then we do our picks as usual and have a good time just talking football! We also announce that we will NOT be having a week 6 podcast as half the guys will be in New Orleans getting ripped. See you all in 2 weeks!

We recap week 4 and all the different stats we can find. Bear breaks down some trade available players on teams  or maybe they're not available but he goes over who has multiple players in their position in the top 10 to help facilitate trades and some available free agents who are in the top 10. Opi gives us an update on his knee surgery, we were all very sad to find out he wasn't high from legal drugs after that was done.

Bear revealed who cursed him clear back in 2014 causing his downfall in the FBFL. The boys come up with some possible rituals to help get his team back to good form. They then talk about all the different normal stuff drilling into the NFL and at the end, the boys come up with a new team name for idea for Bear to break his fantasy curse.

The new format flies now as we do the usual and go over the FBFL in depth as to how teams did. We get a good chance to make fun of a couple teams and spend quite a bit of time giving the ass commish and podcast host a bunch of hell about some trades that fell into his leprechaun lucky ars! We have something new at the end of the podcast where we analyze trades that occurred within the FBFL. We've also added a "who do I play" to http://www.fbfl-qc.com where if you fill it out, the guys will discuss and tell you who they would play that week and then you can do the opposite for a sure-fire win.

Man oh man! We didn't have AJ but we did have plenty of energy and fun. This one is almost a musical as we start back with our FBFL recaps to music and then Bear's Blunder of Wonder has a little surprise for everyone. Bear sums up the argument between Giselle & Brady. We end with a special shout out to Matt Bailey, Moline product that had a stellar start to his University of Illinois football career!

Ryan starts us off with a new section after saying goodbye last week to the "Oh Shits". Then the boys simply hit the protection predictions from each conference. They also bring in good buddy Richard "Grimbo" Lyon to assist in these and give his thoughts. We have a surprise performance from Rob Barber but it only lasts a couple minutes this time…that's what she said. The last 20 minutes has Opi on the road and Bear running it mixed in with a bout of Opi's road rage! Lastly, listen to the protection reveal and the surprise of some of the decisions.
