Opi & the Bear

WOW!! 100 Episodes and the boys don't hold anything back. It's a long one but, hey, it's number 100 so they wanted to do something sort of special and different. The boys start out with some special remembrances and some special thanks to our previous guests. Bear put together a mash-up of memories from the days of the Produca's mash-ups. Then we get to story time with some of the guys and gals of the past and old man Behrens starts us out with a whopper from his childhood, a LOOONG interview with Kayla our social media director, and a few other fun surprise guests! And Bear gets drunk…again…

The boys have colorful discussions on the plethora of trades made at the MLB trade deadline and the in-house Cub fans are pretty happy. They then go on to talk about the FBFL meeting and the decisions made where Commish Bear makes a little announcement on a decision. From there we go to the NFL where the Deshaun Watson decision created a stir big enough for Bear to research the NFL punishments and lastly we talk fantasy tight ends for 2022. It's a fun one!

The boys get together to talk briefly about the FBFL dates coming up and then a brief John Deere Classic chat and how Bear enjoyed his all you can eat and drink experience. Then they move onto some baseball "real vs fake" discussions conjured up by Opi. And of course lastly, let's talk some NFL since that's what we do most on this show as we continue to discuss the different positions from a fantasy perspective for 2022. We're also looking for episode 100 ideas from our fans so let us know if you have anything at [email protected], on Facebook or just tell us to our faces in cursive!

Congratulations to the Warriors and a little NHL talk about the Avalanche vs Lightning series and then we go into much more fun items like baseball and the proper ways to mud your balls…at least according to the commissioner's office. Then we break down QBs in our first of six series on fantasy positions of 2022 as we start gearing up for the fantasy football season!

We're BACK BAAAAABY!! And grosser than ever! Well, that's not true but it's pretty clear we haven't all talked in a while. We come back and cover it ALL…except NHL & NBA but who cares about either of those. We bring up some LIV Golf, NCAA transfer portal & NIL and Bear reveals his plans of what to do to fix that and get kids to graduate. We talk some NFL & MLB also so we run a pretty big gambit of sports! Don't hate how long it is, average it out over the past 3 we missed doing and it's only 36 minutes per episode!

This one was fun! The guys sat around listening to the draft, made some best guesses and also made fun of a lot of picks and teams. The draft is almost 4 hours long but Bear got it plus our commentary down to 1:37ish. We also had special guest and draft guru Rob Barber in the house and the best part of the night was listening in the background to Greg Ventris who had great commentary, until the Packers part of the draft! Opi spends time trying to break things down and we really just keep horsing around instead.

The boys announce the NCAA bracket winners and what their prize is plus talk briefly about the tournament itself and the championship game. Opi is still butthurt from not winning anything and it showed. Opi also gets a little tipsy and rambles quite a bit as we talk about MLB and do our predictions for this season. The next podcast will be done on Thursday, April 28th during the NFL draft in which the boys will sit around and chat as the draft picks go off. We'll also host the draft day 1st round picks contest where we'll have a prize for our winner!

This one is a little late because the night of the podcast was replaced with a night of an auction draft for the NCAA brackets so we pushed it back a week. After the last messy podcast the guys chill a little bit this week and talk about the free agency frenzy in both baseball and football. Bear has a small soap box on why women are allowing the NFL to sweep things under the rug. Opi has a problem with, seemingly, every one of AJ's picks as we choose best and worst NFL & MLB decisions.

Wow…this one starts off the rails right away when we discuss pleasuring a horse and AJ being the only star in a full fledge Star Wars porn (he plays every part). Bear does hit the soap box a few times in this one as he gets a little worked up about Voldemort, about writers headlines, about Jeter and loses his mind about baseball owners. The boys get into a lengthy discussion about Juwan Howard doing his best Muhammed Ali impersonation. And lastly, we bring back Name that State and AJs Finish that Quote! This one was long, we'll cut them back down after this.
