Dr. Archis Ghate is a Professor and Fluor Endowed Chair of Industrial Engineering at Clemson University. Prior to joining Clemson, he was a Professor of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Ghate holds a BTech and MTech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, an M.S. degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, and a PhD degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Ghate has received several awards and honors, including the NSF Career Award and the Award for Excellence in Teaching OR from the Institute of Industrial Engineering.
