During pregnancy a baby is gathering nourishment from stored nutrients and the turnover of the mother's tissues for protein and fatty acid needs. This turnover of tissue is not related to food, alcohol, medication input today, but over the lifetime of the mother.
Eating organic, low processed foods like meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, whole sprouted grains, goat products, really does matter! You can't do everything but you can do something.
