Mail Block: Listener Question Question from T. Simpson: Hey all-star panel (viceroy, meatball, lobster, uncle and the voice)! I’m sitting on some gains in ford and would like to protect it. I’m looking at the December 17 put (currently trading for 82 cents). I know you guys have said aim for about 2% of your portfolio for protection. But my math shows this to be about 5% of my portfolio for decent near-ATM protection. What are some ways that i can do stuff to make this protection more affordable? I very much enjoy the show and i am wearing a fancy hat as i write this letter. – Tom
