The market has been shooting to the moon over the last few weeks which also means volatility has been hitting lows.

But for whatever reason, Oil has taken a beating during this time and volatility is on the rise. Where there is volatility, there is us (as volatility based traders). So we're going to jump into Oil (USO) and throw on an Iron Condor.

The market has been shooting to the moon over the last few weeks which also means volatility has been hitting lows.

But unlike Stock ETFs, Commodities work oppositely. Meaning, when commodity prices increase, volatility actually INCREASES. Yes, it works opposite to stocks in most cases.

So with Gold shooting to new highs, volatility is also on the rise. Where there is volatility, there is us (as volatility based traders). So we're going to jump into Gold (GLD) and skew the iron Condor to the downside because we feel it has more chance to go down over the next 45 days then keep shooting to the moon.
