The market has been range bound for the last few weeks with volatility on the decline, and Earnings all over the place. So where to go to look for a trade? Nike has already had Earnings and is near a low of the year, so seems like a good option.

As a contrarian that can mean only one thing to me: I have to make a trade with the assumption it will go up from here over the next 45ish days.

The market has been on a tear up for the last few weeks and volatility is taking a beating, but we finally had a bit of a breather. The last week saw a bit of a drop and a small volatility increase, but not enough to help us out much. But Oil has been a little more volatile, so that's where we are going to look for a trade.

We will do that by making an Iron Condor trade in USO (the Oil ETF).

The market has been extremely calm recently and volatility is getting crushed. SPY and QQQ are at highs, the IWM is still scraping the bottom. So what is moving? The Bonds (TLT).

The Bonds are near 6 month lows and the volatility is spiking, so lets make a trade with the assumption: Bonds are going to bounce off their lows and hopefully head higher over the next 52 days.

And the way we do that is to Skew our Iron Condor upwards which means: Move the Put side closer to the Stock Price and the Call side further away.
