Gutted. We think that's probably what most people feel after practicing all the covid protocols for the last 6 months just to get another total lockdown this week. Some of us are starting to work from office, some still have those privileges to work from home. But should we just wait and play the blame game?
And since this pandemic is unlikely to go away anytime soon, we want to bring you this special episode. In this meeting, we sat down (yes, virtually) with @diskitsch, she's recently tested positive for covid, and currently under recovery. Dian shared a lot about her experiences and perspectives with Covid-19, from raising awareness, staying cool-headed and beating the devil out of it.
We hope this episode give you some new insights on how to handle the situation better in the future.
Take a good care of you and your loved ones, enjoy this episode and stay strong!
Hey all, it's been awhile, apologize for the waiting, haha. Yes we're back with one of the most requested topics, FMCG, the industry that projected to reach US$ 15,000 billion by 2025.
Well, we think this company needs no introduction. Every day, 2.5 billion people use its products to "feel good, look good and get more out of life." With more than 400 brands bought in 190 countries, it also has a well-known career program that highly interest many fresh graduates and professionals.
In this meeting, @claudyapd shared comprehensively about her experience while participating in the UFLP recruitment, the struggling moments, its promising program and how having mentorship is important for our own personal development.
Take a listen, hope you liked this one and make sure you're fast enough for FMCG!
Cheers, @haroldstefan and @dzakok
How are you guys holding up for these past weeks? Feeling bored? worried? Well, we're no different.
In this so called "podcast from home", we discussed on what is happening to the world, how Covid-19 affects the way we live, keeping sane in the midst of this quarantine boredom, busting all the many Covid-19 hoaxes and how to make "work from home" as the new normal.
Years from now, you might want to listen back to this episode, reminiscing how crazy this year was, yet we're still managed to get through it. So you might want to take a seat, relax, and spend some of your free time by listening to this episode.
We really hope that you will continue to do well in this situation. Stay healthy and keep productive. Much love, @haroldstefan and @dzakok
Two sides. Two different perspectives. We had @evnbee, representing the external auditor and @raplip, a used-to-be external auditor now entering the internal side. We discussed a lot about what auditors actually do, the difference from both sides, peak & low seasons until the stigma around auditors.
Thanks to Evan and Rafli for making the time and giving some quick accounting class for dummies like us! And let we "assure" you that no matter which side you are on, there's a lot to learn from this meeting.
Last but not least, please make sure to live healthy in this crazy pandemic. Cheers from us, @haroldstefan and @dzakok.
One interesting article from Harvard Business Review said that data scientist is the sexiest job in 21st century, therefore making a career inside data world is pretty interesting for everyone, including me (@haroldstefan) and @dzakok. But here comes the question, how can I make a career in data science? What skills do I need? I have no IT background, can I still make it?
Fulfilling the curiosity, we sat down with @caesaralpha, a consultant from one of tech giants, IBM. Alpha talked about data science, the roles around it, and the transitions on how he switched career into the data science field despite of having no IT background.
Seeing that jobs related to data are starting to crest creating a new epic wave for job seekers, we need to make sure that we can catch up. Are you ready for the new wave?
Yes, the episode is here! We're so lucky to meet @anggarisnando, one of Telkom's inspiring talents and APSCC (Asia Pacific Satellite Communication Council) Young Talent Award Winner as he shared about about how Telkom had a significant influence on him, and how Mas Nando made a direct impact back not only to the company but also Indonesia.
From the striving moments in his career, getting a full scholarships, becoming company’s ambassador until contributing directly on satellites launching in Indonesia. We found this episode is a complete package for not only those who want to work at Telkom, but also for everyone who wants to make the very best of you.
We (@haroldstefan and @dzakok) hope this conversation is fruitful enough, and wish you all a Happy New Year!!
40 minutes deep talk. No guest, just us, basically talking about BUMN 101. We discussed about all the major reasons on why you should choose BUMN as your career, tackling all BUMN's misperceptions, and how do we respond to the current horrendous BUMN news.
PS: If you want some "Pergundikan" stories, you won't find it here.
Cheers, @haroldstefan and @dzakok.
Lots of fresh graduates want to kick start their careers with the Management Trainee (or simply MT) Program, which we agree, and there's nothing wrong about it. In this meeting, we went over the journey of @amkalpika, part of the arguably well-known and best MT Program in Indonesia, Astra Graduate Program. We, @haroldstefan and @dzakok, learned about preparing ourselves for the working world while still in college, the fun and challenging Astra MT program, and how being active in college would affect our working ethics. We hope you learn a thing or two from this meeting, just as much as we did!
