As the Gotta Watch The Tape podcast enters the offseason, it's taking on different deep looks at the Browns, and it's also going once a week. You'll get five days a week of episodes in this Orange and Brown Talk feed, but the film and numbers pod of GWTT will focus on coming at you each Thursday.

On this episode, the guys investigate a single play, and everything that play says about the Browns' present and future. It's a strip sack by Myles Garrett again the Bengals in Week 2, and Scott Patsko dives into several aspects of it, with Ellis Williams and Doug Lesmerises chiming in.

Why didn't Garrett rush from a tackle spot more often? Should the Browns deploy him from the left or right side more often in the future? What might Garrett do if he has a true second half of the season in 2021, after a suspension in 2019 and a COVID battle in 2020 deprived him of being at his best in the second half? Should the Browns blitz more behind him?

The big news in the NFL over the weekend was the trade, in principle, involving the Rams sending Jared Goff and a bunch of other stuff to the Lions in exchange for Matthew Stafford.

Does it have any impact on the Browns' looming decision about their quarterback, Baker Mayfield? Mary Kay Cabot and Dan Labbe dove into whether the trade is a cautionary tale for doing an extension right away or if it's unrelated to what the Browns might do this offseason.
