On this Tuesday episode of Gotta Watch The Tape from cleveland.com, Doug Lesmerises, Scott Patsko and Ellis Williams address two big Browns topics.
First, Scott examines the Browns pass defense and where it ranks compared to other teams in the league. Who are the players most to blame for the issues there, but how much of a problem is it really? Do a lot of teams have trouble defending the pass the way the Browns do, especially their opponent this week, the Las Vegas Raiders?
Then Ellis addresses the loss of Odell Beckham Jr. for the season. He changed the Browns' offense with his presence, so what happens now? What are the negative and possibly positive effects on Baker Mayfield? And after Jarvis Landry, which Browns receiver will be next up in targets the rest of this season?

Do the Browns need to trade for a wide receiver? Mary Kay Cabot, Doug Lesmerises and Dan Labbe ask and answer five Browns questions, including whether the Browns need to, or should, make a move or not. They also name the Browns' MVP, pick out the players they want to see more from, the injured player they miss most and slot the Browns in the AFC.

Two more big Browns breakdowns on this Gotta Watch The Tape episode from cleveland.com featuring Ellis Williams, Scott Patsko and Doug Lesmerises.
First, Ellis dives into Kevin Stefanski's play calling and some of his tendencies over the first six weeks. The first-year head coach gets a rematch for the first time with the Bengals on Sunday, and there are a few things Ellis found that Stefanski must do to make life easier on the offense and Baker Mayfield.
Then Scott looks at cornerback Denzel Ward and how he's been playing this season. He's in the same contract situation as Mayfield and the Browns will have an interesting evaluation to make as they think about Ward's performance and how that lives up to his status as the No. 4 pick in the draft and how his contract desires might compare to the best corners in the league. Scott has some stats that are in Ward's favor and some that are against him.

On this Gotta Watch The Tape episode from cleveland.com, it's all about Baker Mayfield. The numbers and film podcast is breaking form a bit to dive in on the Browns quarterback for a full hour.
First, Scott Patsko gives you the kind of half-hour breakdown you're used to. Scott checks the numbers and explains how Mayfield is handling himself when he's under pressure this year, and he explains why the Pittsburgh defensive plan last Sunday wasn't exactly what was expected. How does Mayfield compare to other QBs when he's rushed, and what does that tell us?
Then, Doug Lesmerises and Ellis Williams join Scott for a second half of the pod debate on Mayfield, focusing on three topics:
