The Sandcastle demo was band comprised of myself, my brother Andrew, with musical contributions from Tony Tullai (THE LAST DANCE; THE
PROPHETESS). This demo is really a collection of songs recorded in 1988 with the bulk of them were recorded in 1992.
The best way to describe the Sandcastle Demo would be experimental mixed with an interest in Motorhead, Joy Division, Black Flag, and Dag Nasty.
I'm not saying this demo sounds like any of that, but those were the influences as I recall from all the contributors.
Many thanks to Derick Greene for sending me this demo. I did everything I could (well, at least I attempted to do everything I could) to have
this sound better. I don't think I achieved that, but I thank you for listening nonetheless.
Also, big thanks to Rick Greeno (HAYWIRE, EXIT WOUND, ANIMAL MOTHER) for being a constant source of inspiration and support since we met in the early 80s.
Lastly, thank you to Dennis Lluy who loaned me his 4 track in 1992 to "engineer" most of this with Jeff Caudill. Yes Jeff, you were there and you took park.
